If you do develop sunburn, home remedies can help relieve some of the discomfort and minimize the damage to your skin. Chamomile, eucalyptus, helichrysum, lavender, patchouli, and peppermint oils are especially helpful for soothing sunburn pain and cooling burned skin. Bathe in a Sunburn- Soothing Bath as soon as possible to help draw out the heat from your sunburn. To relieve sunburn pain and the dry, tight feeling, and to discourage peeling of the skin, apply Lavender Sunburn Oil or Sunburn Relief Skin Oil to the affected areas several times daily.
